I have used the Dutch oven in the oven and cooked dishes at 400 F without the lid without any problem so far.

I am happy with the size and capacity of the pot. I was able to put 3 full pounds of fresh spinach in it with no problems.
The pot is quite large and suitable for making large batches of sauce or soup to freeze.
